K rafton will shut down Battlegrounds Mobile India’s data transfer and login with Facebook from September. Logging in with Facebook accounts after October 5 will not work if the Facebook app is not installed on your smartphone.

Krafton, the developer of Battlegrounds Mobile India, announced in a post that it is changing its data transfer policy. Krafton no longer allows PUBG data transfer with the Battlegrounds Mobile India Facebook account. The developer will stop transferring data using Facebook accounts from September 28, which means that you will not be able to transfer data from PUBG Mobile to BGMI with your Facebook account after the date mentioned above.

The entry reads:

"We'd like to ask you to resume data transfer before September 28 if you want to do so with your Facebook account." The developer will also disable Facebook login unless the Facebook app is installed on your smartphone to comply with the Facebook SDK. “Also, after October 5, logins will be disabled unless the Facebook app is installed on the device; we apologize for the inconvenience, but please install the Facebook app to use the game".

The restriction is limited to Android users only and iOS users will not be affected by the upcoming changes. Previously, Krafton allowed players to use their Facebook account to transfer their PUBG Mobile.
