On July 7, 2020, Nokia Mobile updated the security maintenance release summary page for smartphones, which you can easily follow here. The summary briefly details the first date of security fixes (SPs) and / or maintenance releases (MRs) for Nokia smartphones, along with the SP version. and software (SW) ID.
All usable Nokia smartphones which are Nokia 1, Nokia 1 Plus, Nokia 1.3, Nokia 2.1, Nokia 2.2, Nokia 2.3, Nokia 3.1, Nokia 3.1 Plus, Nokia 3.2, Nokia 4.2, Nokia 5.1, Nokia 5.1 Plus, Nokia 5.3, Nokia 6.1, Nokia 6.1 Plus, Nokia 6.2, Nokia 7.1, Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 7.2, Nokia 8.1, Nokia 8 Sirocco and Nokia 9 PureView will already receive the June 2020 security update.
In addition, the new Android 10 Go version V1.160 started on July 3 with the June 1.3 security update for Nokia, although only a separate update with the security patch has been introduced for the device since June 22. Nokia 1 finally received the Android 10 Go update from July 7 with the June security update.
However, Nokia Mobile is yet to release the Android 10 update for Nokia 5.1 and Nokia 3.1, as well as the Android 10 Go update for Nokia 2.1, which is expected to arrive this month.
To find information about your device in the summary, select your Nokia smartphone from the drop-down menu and look for the SW ID that is similar to the “About” section in the “Settings” section on your device.
