HMD Global has made available the new July 2020 security update for Nokia 8 and Nokia 9 PureView. The update only includes the security patch! Check the update size, list of markets, and update switch log below.

Nokia 8 July Security Update Size:
The size of the Nokia 8 update is 97.20 MB. You will either be prompted to download the update, or you can check it in the Settings menu by checking for system updates and then checking for the update.
Nokia 9 PureView July Security Update Size:
The size of the Nokia 9 PureView update is 33.30 MB. You will either be prompted to download the update, or you can check it in the Settings menu by checking for system updates and then checking for the update.
Nokia 8 and Nokia 9 PureView July Security Update Log:
The change log only mentions the July Android security update for Nokia 8 and Nokia 9 PureView. The most serious of these is a critical vulnerability in the System component that could allow a remote attacker to use arbitrary code to execute arbitrary code in a privileged process.
