This time, Nokia Mobile has released a new security update for Nokia 6.1 smartphones, which is the May 2020 security update. The update includes a new version of Android 10 Build V4.15C and a May Android security patch for Nokia 6.1 devices.

The size of the Nokia 6.1 update is 320 MB. You will either be prompted to download the update, or you can check it in the Settings menu by checking for system updates and then checking for the update.

Nokia 6.1 Security Update Change Log:

Nokia 6.1 gets stability enhancements and unknown user interface enhancements along with Android security patch. The most serious of these is a critical vulnerability in the System component that allows a remote attacker to use arbitrary code to execute arbitrary code in a privileged process.

HMD has been fairly consistent in releasing monthly security updates and operating system updates for Nokia smartphones already on the market. HMD has also made it clear that all Nokia Android one Phones will receive an OS update of at least two years.
