Nokia is building a network in the 450 MHz and 410 MHz bands in Argentina
Alvis is installing the first network that Nokia will build into its 5G-ready LTE network in Argentina, combining the 450 MHz and 410 MHz bands to connect rural areas where intensive farming takes place and reach both production areas and the underprivileged population.
Nokia deploys shared 5G network with SoftBank and KDDI in Japan
Under the deal, Nokia will supply its latest AirScale products including baseband and radio platforms. Nokia’s MORAN is triple mode and covers LTE, 5G as well as Dynamic Spectrum Sharing. The new ReefShark-powered plug-in cards are easily installed and simplify the upgrade and extended operation of all AirScale deployments.
