Boom year for private 5G?

Nokia chosen to modernize Union Wireless’ Radio Access Network

Nokia announced today that the company has been selected as a partner in Union Wireless’s “Rip and Replace” program to replace the latter’s existing RAN (Radio Access Network) equipment with the Nokia AirScale 4G / 5G radio portfolio. The Finnish manufacturer also provides all installation and integration services, including earthworks and tower work, installation, commissioning, and RF design and cluster optimization.
