We thought as of today... today, Nokia Mobile India announced that the Nokia G42 5G smartphone will hit store shelves in the Indian market on Amazon only from September 11. At the moment, nothing is known about the pricing, but we can hope that this will also be published in the press soon. It's quite sad news for those Nokia fans who are already prepared for today's purchase, but unfortunately Nokia Mobile India has postponed the start of sales of the device to September 11.
Nokia G42 5G is an upcoming mobile by Nokia. The phone is rumored to come with a 90 Hz refresh rate 6.56-inch touchscreen display offering a resolution of 720x1612 pixels (HD+) and an aspect ratio of 20:9. Nokia G42 5G is expected to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ processor and come with 4GB of RAM. The Nokia G42 5G is rumored to run Android 13 and is expected to be powered by a 5000mAh battery.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the Nokia G42 5G is rumored to pack a dual rear camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel primary camera; the 2-megapixel camera, and the 2-megapixel camera. It is rumored to sport a single front camera setup for selfies, an 8-megapixel primary camera.
Nokia G42 5G is based on Android 13 and packs 128GB of inbuilt storage. It is said to launch in Lavender, So Pink and Meteor Gray colours.
Connectivity options on the Nokia G42 5G are said to include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, and USB Type-C with active 4G on both SIM cards. Sensors on the phone are rumored to include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, barometer, compass/magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor. The Nokia G42 5G supports face unlock.
