For its display, the smartphone packs a display with a screen resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels , and the device will be available with a storage option of 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. According to the announcement, it was also revealed that the device will be available in two colors, gray and purple.

As for the other update, an upcoming Nokia device codenamed “Venom” was leaked a few weeks ago along with key specifications. The leaked image revealed that the smartphone has Nokia's usual design and the smartphone bears a strong resemblance to the upcoming Nokia G310 5G which has received FCC certification.

In terms of design, the smartphone also looks very similar to the Nokia G22 smartphone , and now another listing reveals that the same screen protector should be used on both devices. As it turns out, both devices use the same PanzerGlass for screen protection, and given the similar rear panel design, both devices may have the same body.

As for the key specifications of the Nokia Venom , the smartphone will be powered by a Unisoc T606 chipset and will have 128GB of internal storage and 4GB of RAM. The device is also expected to feature a 64MP triple camera along with a 16MP front-facing camera. Along with these updates, two other Nokia smartphones with model numbers TA-1517 and TA-1524 have been listed on the Bluetooth SIG certification platform in addition to the Nokia G22 smartphone.

Interestingly, the smartphone was listed with the same description as the Nokia G22. We may have to wait for more updates to confirm anything about these newly spotted devices. Bluetooth SIG certification confirms that Nokia phones with model numbers TA-1573 and TA-1591 / TA-1581 will debut in the market as Nokia G310 5G and Nokia G42 5G.

In addition to revealing support for Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity, the Bluetooth listings for both phones revealed key specifications. According to the Bluetooth listings, the Nokia G42 5G and Nokia G310 5G will feature a 6.5-inch LCD panel with a V-notch. The screen will support 720 x 1612 pixels HD+ resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 90Hz refresh rate and up to 560 nits of brightness. The screen is protected by a Gorilla Glass 3 layer.

The Snapdragon 480 Plus 5G chipset will be present under the hood of both the smartphones. Both devices will come pre-installed with the Android 13 operating system. The Nokia G42 5G was spotted on Geekbench with 4GB of RAM. Other reports claimed that it will also come in a 6GB RAM variant and offer up to 128GB of storage. There is currently no information available on the camera configuration or battery size of the device. As you can see above, the Nokia G42 5G and Nokia G310 5G share the same display and chipset. It is not yet known whether the rest of the specifications of these phones will be the same or different.

The Geekbench listing of the Nokia G42 5G reveals that it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. The octa-core processor will have 6 cores clocked at 1.9 GHz and 2 cores clocked at 2.21 GHz. The smartphone comes with 4GB of RAM and Android 13 out of the box.The clear case listing for the Nokia G42 5G has an estimated shipping date of July 19-21. This could indicate an early July release date for the Nokia G42 5G. Although Nokia Mobile may launch the smartphone in June with accessories planned for July.
