Finnish company HMD Global has launched a new HMD Fuse smartphone aimed specifically at children. According to the company, it is the world's first smartphone that prevents children from filming, broadcasting or viewing nude and sexually explicit content, even while streaming.

A ccording to a leaker who is regularly well-informed about HMD (@smashx_60), the manufacturer is working on another entry-level Android phone. The device's official name is currently uncertain; it is circulating in rumors under the codename "Darkhawk."

No other details - such as display size, cameras, storage, price, or release date - have surfaced yet, though any new information is unlikely to remain secret for long. The Darkhawk is also linked to a clean version of Android 17 featuring a custom skin. The leak mentions test version 250.1.6-7ww_Mediatek_MT6789H, pointing to the use of MediaTek’s mid-range Helio G100 platform.
