Infobip, Nokia and GSMA showcase benefits of network APIs at industry-leading Shift developer conference

V ODNJAN, Croatia - Global communications platform Infobip brings together global mobile telecoms business Nokia, the GSMA mobile industry association, leading Croatian telco, Croatian Telekom (Hrvatski Telekom) and other companies at this year's leading developer-focused conference Shift.

Following a number of successful partnerships launching Camara-compatible network APIs under the GSMA Open Gateway initiative, telcos and mobile network operators worldwide are looking to launch and monetize emerging and future services. Many companies still need better relationships with developers to do this quickly and efficiently. That is why MNOs are participating in the Infobip Shift this year.

At Shift, tech-automotive company Elmo will present its remote driving technology, where attendees can drive a car in Finland via a console in Croatia. Elmo has partnered with Nokia to implement the Network as a Code API to remotely control Elmo cars by operating the remote console via the Croatian Telekom wireless 5G Campus network, and is counting on the support of Infobip and Croatian Telekom to bring this experience to this year's Shift Deliver it to guests in the Zadar edition as well.
