A ccording to reports, HMD has launched the T21 2nd Edition tablet in Nepal. The tablet is now available for early bird purchase at a discounted price and comes with freebies. Following the earlier report that HMD is planning to launch a new tablet, the same source has now revealed the availability of the tablet in Nepal. It is called the HMD T21 2nd Edition and is now available for purchase at an early bird price and comes with freebies.
The information comes from a post by smashx_60 X, and he claims that the HMD T21 2nd Edition is now available in Nepal. However, since HMD does not have a dedicated website for Nepal and the source did not mention any specific retailer, it is impossible to confirm the news.
However, the listing states that the tablet will be available in two configurations — a 4GB RAM + 128GB version priced at NPR 24,999 (GBP 117, EUR 137, USD 159 and INR 15,304) and an 8GB RAM + 256GB RAM + 256GB RAM version priced at NPR 29,699 (GBP 18,553) and will be available in September.
These are reportedly early pricing, meaning the final retail price will likely be higher. Additionally, those who buy the HMD T21 2nd Edition now will get three freebies, including a screen protector, a mobile stand, and a 16-ounce travel mug. According to a previous report, the specs of the HMD T21 Edition 2 are no different from the HMD T21 (read our review), except that we get an 8GB RAM version and more base storage. So, it has a 10.36-inch IPS display with 2K resolution and stylus support. There’s a Unisoc T7225 processor under the hood, and there’s microSD space for adding more storage.
There’s also an 8MP camera on either side, stereo speakers, an audio jack, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 5, 4G LTE, NFC, and an 8200mAh battery that supports 18W wired charging. It’s IP52 rated for dust and water resistance. HMD ships the tablet with Android 15 out of the box.
