HMD Global, the new home for Nokia phones, believes that anyone who wants extra protection for their device should be given this opportunity.

The Finnish company has announced that it will launch new protection plans and an extended warranty for Nokia phones. With the new extended warranty, Nokia customers receive an additional 12 months after the original warranty period for the device, which covers an additional full year in the event of an unexpected mechanical or electrical failure. The extended warranty costs $ 10 in the United States.

The new asset protection plans unveiled yesterday are designed to give customers peace of mind in the event of accidental and liquid damage, such as a sudden drop or spill. Nokia users can purchase two different device protection packages starting at $ 19: 14-month and 24-month packages.

The good news is that both plans come with an extended warranty, which usually costs $ 10 when purchased separately. Of course, new service agreements only apply to new and fully functional Nokia phones and must be activated within 30 days of purchase for a protection plan and within 90 days of purchase for an extended warranty. Be sure to check the Nokia website to see if your phone is eligible for these protection plans.
