HMD Global Unveils M-Kopa X30 with Dual 50MP Cameras and 3.5mm Headphone Jack - Photos and Specs

HMD Global has unveiled a new mid-range smartphone, the M-Kopa X30, which combines the camera module found in the Apple iPhone 17 Pro design with a 50MP selfie camera, a 1080p+ display, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

M-Kopa, a subsidiary of HMD Global, recently unveiled the X30, a mid-range smartphone that aims to impress with its modern design, flat bezels, and a large rectangular camera module, in the style of the iPhone 17 Pro. The M-Kopa X30 has a 50MP selfie camera, a 50MP main camera, and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera.

The cameras can be controlled using gestures: a specific facial expression or hand movement. The M-Kopa X30's case is only IP52 certified, so it is only protected against light splashes of water. The smartphone has a 6.72-inch display with a resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. The battery capacity is 5,000 mAh and can be charged via USB-C at up to 10 W; Wireless charging is not possible.

Inside is the Unisoc Tiger T615ARM chip, which is made using 12nm technology and is equipped with two high-performance ARM Cortex-A75 cores clocked at up to 1.8GHz and six efficient Cortex-A55 cores. It also has 6GB of RAM and 256GB of flash storage, which can be expanded via microSD card. An NFC chip, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a fingerprint sensor in the lock button, dual SIM slots and Android 15 complete the list of specifications of the M-Kopa X30.
