17. 08. 2026 Monday / By: Robert Denes / Leakage / Exact time: BST / Print this page

The new HMD 102 4G and HMD 102 4G Pro are practically identical, with both phones sporting a heavily rounded bezel and a 2.0-inch display with a resolution of just 160 x 120. The HMD 102 4G, announced in September 2025, primarily differs from the HMD 102 4G Pro in its rear camera and battery capacity, although it only has a resolution of 320 x 240, or 0.08 MP, while the Pro version has a 0.03 MP camera. The HMD 102 4G device has a battery capacity of only 1000 mAh, while the Pro version has 1200 mAh.

The LED flash is at least useful as a flashlight. The phones support dual SIM cards and access several cloud apps over LTE to check the news or weather forecast. However, the phone still doesn't support browsers or social media apps. At least HMD Global includes a radio and an MP3 player app. Music can be stored on a microSD card with a maximum capacity of 32 GB.

Headphones can be connected via a 3.5 mm headphone jack or wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.0. The regular 4G version has Bluetooth 4.2, while the Pro edition only has Bluetooth 4.2. The 1,000 mAh battery is said to provide 6.5 hours of talk time on the regular 4G version, while the Pro edition has a 1,200 mAh battery and charges via USB-C.

The IP52 certification only promises protection against light splashes of water. The S30+ comes with a pre-installed version of the Snake operating system. Inside the phones is a Unisoc 8910 FF-S, supported by 24 MB of RAM and 16 MB of flash memory. Release date, pricing, and colors are not yet available!
