Two new wireless earphones from HMD – the Finnish technology manufacturer – have received certification from the UAE’s TDRA authority. The certification also confirms their imminent launch in the UAE market. The certification applies to the HMD DUB X50 ENC and HMD DUB X50 Pro ANC models, and strongly suggests that the devices will be available soon, at least in the Middle East market.
Both earphones are marked as Bluetooth devices and are registered in the TDRA database with device IDs ER47286/25 and ER47287/25. No official information has been released about the technical specifications of the devices yet, but the names suggest that the DUB X50 ENC supports ambient noise cancellation, while the Pro version offers more advanced active noise cancellation.
The HMD DUB X50 ENC and HMD DUB X50 Pro ANC have been certified by the TDRA authority with the equipment registration numbers "ER47286/25" and "ER47287/25", and both devices are listed as Bluetooth products in the certification database. Their certification is valid until June 25, 2028, and as mentioned, the TDRA certification points to the imminent launch of the two wireless earphones in the UAE market.
While more detailed technical details or images are not yet available, the registration of the devices in the authority database suggests that an official launch could be just around the corner.
HMD's lineup is also expanding in other ways. Earlier this week, the DUB P50 ENC headphones were spotted in the US FCC database, along with images and key specifications such as Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity and charging case capacity. At the same time, the HMD Watch P1 smartwatch was also released, which features a rectangular screen, rotating crown, and Bluetooth calling features, among other things.
HMD is now clearly building its ecosystem in the field of wearable technology and audio devices. The addition of headphones and smartwatches to the product range indicates that the company intends to compete even more broadly in the mobile accessories market. The official launch of the DUB X50 series is expected in the coming weeks - at least in the Middle East. There is currently no information on European availability.
